ISES-Chicago Holiday Celebration

The December meeting featured ISES Chicago’s Holiday Celebration which was planned in conjunction with HSMAI.  Guests arrived at FAME in Chicago, which featured an urban vibe with artwork by local designers, hand-painted pop art on the walls, and an impressive reclaimed wood bar.  Jennifer Kathryn Photography snapped photos of revelers as they entered.  Centered on each table were gothic inspired centerpieces featuring black plumes and the bar top featured a dramatic vase of whimsical twigs all provided by Color and Company.

Attendees mingled and networked over seasonal cocktails served from a custom mixology station and high-end bar noshes. Current ISES Chicago President Barb Harris provided the opening welcome remarks and formally introduced our partners with HSMAI.  Anedra Kerr, Vice President of Development at Advocate Children’s Hospital, thanked guests for their donations of toys and cash towards the hospital.

Following the remarks, guests were welcomed to enjoy the many activities being offered.  Celebration Authority provided a make-your-own lip balm station and a custom sunglass station; Record-a-Hit Entertainment provided an exciting “air graffiti” photo booth; and Mike Staff Productions kept guests entertained with energetic dance jams.  As they exited the venue, guests were greeted with a sweet treat courtesy of Food for Thought.

Be sure to join ISES Chicago at our upcoming events: The Special Event 2014 in Nashville beginning January 7; our annual Day of Education at the Chicago History Museum on February 18; and the 2014 NICE Awards at Hotel Sax Chicago on April 7.
