Event Technology 2.0: Emerging Tools for Top Event Professionals

The May meeting featured ISES Chicago’s BE EDUCATED: Event Technology 2.0: Emerging Tools for Top Event Professionals”. Guests arrived to Ignite Glass Studio in Chicago’s West Loop, which features a very industrial, raw space. The event space has cement floors with exposed brick with an urban garden, roof top deck, and a hot shop which is where they offer glassblowing demonstrations.
Upon entering the event space, attendees registered and then entered the main event space. Attendees mingled and networked over Tasty Catering’s Sangria and Avocado Bowls, before Barb Harris of On the Scene/The Event Company, provided the opening welcome remarks and formally introduced our vendors and sponsors.
Featured guests tech vendors included Tyler Mose of Indirap Productions, Dianne Kleber from Auctions by Cellular, Cheryl Bayma from Shutterbooth, and Raquel Barrett from Gratafy.
Following the welcome remarks, guests were welcomed to visit the tech tables, watch the glass blowing demo, or mix and mingle to the tunes of Jazmine Hype from H.Y.P.E Productions.
Chef food stations, passed hors d’oeuvres, and desserts were creatively displayed by Tasty Catering. The avocado bar was a huge success. Tablescapes provided a perfect mix of aged farm tables and brushed metal pedestal tables. The event was captured by photos from Rebecca Marie Photography. Yellow linen for the vendor tables were supplied through Val Braun of Arena Americas. Centered on each table were rustic floral centerpieces provided through Steve Buehre from Phillips Flowers. The yellow LED lighting supplied through H.Y.P.E . Productions brought a soft element to the room.
